"Where the City Eats"
A New York chain of fast-casual self-service restaurants that has an enormous variety of food, from made-to-order breakfasts to burgers, endless sandwich and “pressini” options, soups, healthy grain bowls, design your own salad or pasta, smoothies, and so on. Their tagline says it all: “Where the City Eats”. Your food will be ready quickly, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t fresh and delicious. New Yorkers won’t stand for that.
Legacy & Super Ambassador
A native of Queens, I currently reside in Minneapolis. I ran the Twin Cities Marathon twice, as well as New York and Dublin. Over the years, I completed many half-marathons, as well as 10K races.
While now a member of the “senior circuit” with my distance running days behind me, I have countless memories of my daily runs in Chicago, continuing in Oakland with beautiful Lake Merritt across the street from my apartment, and on the countless trails around the lakes and in the woods of Minnesota.
My biggest fan, my daughter Sarah, died of cancer in 2013 at the age of 24. My primary charity focus is the annual scholarship fund set up in her memory at Eastview High School in Apple Valley, MN. Scholarship details are available at www.evcg.org.
