Dining from the roots
Cena is a modern, fresh and simple Italian food served in a contemporary and stylish setting. Located in the Grand Central building at the heart of the vibrant Channel District of Tampa, Florida – Cena is dining from the roots – great ingredients, traditional dishes, and attentive service. Solid cut and paste… but they described this place perfectly.. the food is amazing – love the Braised Oxtail Gnocchi. Cena also has a bar menu available right across the way at Pour House. Pour House is a great place to grab a beer, play some pool and just hang out. Also dog-friendly. Pour House also hosts a twice-weekly 5k www.runningforbrews.com Mondays & Wednesdays at 7pm
I am newer to running. It began as a way to lose weight (currently down 125lbs) and has become a passion. I’m currently on a #5kEveryDay Streak that is over 500 days long and going. I have also been featured by Runners World Magazine as I was approaching a year of 5ks for my transformation. Their Facebook video of my story has over 1.6million views. As for races… I ran the 16mile Veterans Day bridge crossing from Tampa to Clearwater in 2018. This was my first official race and incredibly I got Bib #001. I will be running the Gaspirilla Half Marathon this year and hope to see you out there. I have dreams of becoming an Ultra Marathoner with the Bryce Canyon 50k in Utah on my bucket list!!
