Comfort is guaranteed
This hotel is high on my list of places to stay for the race, based on price, and proximity to the starting area of the race. You won’t get any surprises out of a Courtyard, good or bad, but your comfort is guaranteed. There’s a restaurant in the bottom of the hotel, and a Starbucks just around the corner – so if you prefer to be less adventurous during the lead up to a race, this hotel will give you all of the necessities.
I am in my early 40s and have been running marathons for over a decade. I’ve called Washington, D.C. my home for more than 20 years, although I have run marathons all over the country. In March 2018, I ran the D.C. Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon with my 16-year-old son.
